My friend, Willy, recently expressed an interest in fly fishing.
Sez I, "Gimme time and date, I'll help you get started."
This morning we peddled our bikes for about six miles to a suitable spot. We assembled his new Cabela's rig and I began to pontificate. Six years of hiatus faded rather quickly into a background laden with all kinds of ignorable junk as I blathered.....and began that old sweet dance.
We spoke of angles and acceleration and positions and momentum and supersonic speeds and mass and wind and currents and drag and drift and curves and leaders and tippet and fish and loops and tangles and knots and bends and hitches and wrists and elbows and shoulders and stripping and shooting and retrieving.....and I danced.
And Willy listened and he watched......and then he danced.
Oh yeah.....Willy danced.
